Format

Competitors enter individually and are randomly paired up -- any swing goes

Prelims: Friday, August 16 at 1st band break (~9:30pm, check-in at 9:15pm)

3 songs, ranging 90 to 200 bpm, ~1 minute each


Finals: Friday, August 16 at 2nd band break (~10:30pm, check-in at 10:15pm)

5 couples, 2 spotlights - sixteen 8s each + all-skate

~160 bpm

Prelims: Saturday, August 17 at 7:00pm (check-in at 6:45pm)

3 songs, ranging from 110 to 220 bpm, ~1 minute each


Finals: Saturday, August 17 at 2nd band break (~10:30pm, check-in at 10:15pm)

Spotlight 1 (mid-slow tempo): ~130 - 150 bpm

2 spotlights - sixteen 8s each + all-skate

Spotlight 2 (fast tempo): ~200 bpm

2 spotlights - sixteen 8s each + all-skate

Fast Feet Contest

Cost: $5 per couple, FREE for Full Weekend and Dance Pass holders

Format

Competitors enter as a couple and music increases ~20 bpm each round. 

Prelims and Finals: Saturday, August 17 at around 11:45pm

Couples are tapped out once they get off-time from the music.

Any Solo Goes ($5/person)

Format

Prelims and Finals: Sunday, August 18 at 1st band break (~9:00pm)

Prelims (tap-in): 

3 songs, ranging from 100 to 200 bpm, ~1.5 minutes each


Finals (audience-judged): 

4 finalists, 1 spotlight song, ~170 bpm

Spotlights: 2 sets of sixteen 8s per finalist + all skate at the end
